In 1981, the founder of T.O. opened its doors on a quiet street corner in Kochi. He cherished authenticity over fleeting trends, and created a place that would walk gently alongside people through the course of their lives.
In 2023, he left us suddenly. Yet his vision, his quiet gaze, and the life he poured into this world remain vividly with us still—now carried forward by his children, who continue to keep his spirit alive.

Each morning, as we begin our work, we start by thinking about your styling. We picture your face and your lifestyle:

This is how our styling begins. We are not merely salespeople—we are personal stylists who understand the life of each customer.

Warmth in every space, garment, and person
At T.O, we offer clothes, shoes, bags, and jewelry filled with the maker’s intention and craftsmanship. But their journey doesn’t end when they arrive.
We unbox them carefully, steam away creases, adjust their shape, and place them lovingly in the shop. Every piece is worn by our staff to check how it feels. We then display it where it looks and lives its best.
It’s much like a sommelier opening a bottle of wine and letting it breathe.This preparation, this awakening, is part of our devotion.
Even our interior carries warmth—we use antique Japanese-Western furniture from the Taisho and early Showa eras. Their quiet presence soothes the spirit without being loud.
